Ever since the Disney Pixar movie “Ratatouille” was released on DVD, it has been playing on a non stop loop. It was a long awaited movie for our household.
I absolutely adore this movie, as does my son. I especially love the shared passion and message about good food and its profound effect on people and their lives. Its connection to nurturing and love is so true. This is a touching, entertaining, technologically and creatively wonderful movie. There is sometihng happening out there with food and people and I think it is terrific and long overdue!
We celebrated while having ham and brie sandwiches and made ratatouille.

It was as delicious as I remember! I used to make it all the time, especially back in the 1990’s when it was a popular side dish at restaurants. It was just the perfect, fresh tasting vegetable dish. I made it to perfection in my toaster oven. Hmmmm!
We will be enjoying this movie for years to come and it is a cherished family movie in our home as all Pixar and Disney movies are.
