Preheat toaster oven to 350 degrees. Use a small oven proof dish for cooking mangoes.
Ingredients
- One ripe mango, peeled and cut into large pieces
- Brown sugar 1 heaping double teaspoon
- Nutmeg a sprinkle
- Margarine or butter 1 double teaspoon
Method
- Place cut mango pieces into a small oven safe dish
- Dot with 1 double teaspoon of margarine
- Sprinkle 1 heaping double teaspoon of brown sugar
- Sprinkle a little nutmeg
- Cook for 10 minutes for succulent mangoes, 10 minutes longer for a more intense flavor
Coat each mango piece with the glossy sugary juices in the dish. Serve alone or with ice cream or on the side of your favorite dessert.
